How to Record Your iPhone Screen

You may have seen videos on YouTube that record mobile game play or mobile stock trading.

 

At first, I wondered how they filmed those videos, but since I never uploaded videos to YouTube myself, I left that curiosity behind. However, it can also be useful to record your screen when a problem occurs in an application you’re using, so you can send the recording to a technician. Therefore, I looked into how to do this and decided to share it.

 

Like a typical Korean, I don't usually read manuals when buying something or installing and running new software, but this information is clearly available on Apple's support center.

How to Record Your Screen

 

For iOS 14 and later, go to Settings > Control Center, then tap the Add button next to Screen Recording.

Open Control Center on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.

Long press the gray Record button, then tap Microphone.

Tap Start Recording and wait for the 3-second countdown.

To stop recording, open Control Center and tap the red Record button. Or, tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and tap Stop.

 

Go to the Photos app and select the screen recording.

Note: Some apps may not allow audio recording. You cannot use screen mirroring while recording your screen.
